Mina Mortezaie

Mina is the current USPDF (U.S. Pole Dance Federation) Amateur Champion. She comes from a background in Dance and Gymnastics. She has been Pole Dancing for 3 years and her style brings grace, strength, and flexibility to the pole. With a degree in Communications from UCLA, Mina’s resume includes experience in broadcast journalism and digital marketing. Mina has been featured in the LA Times for her pole dancing and has graced the cover of Pole 2 Pole magazine in December 2009. She is also a Brand Director for Bad Kitty Pole Wear and just launched a new clothing line made just for pole dancers called “Pole Fit.” Mina's latest accomplishments include winning the East Meets West Bi-Polar competition with her partner Nadia Sharif.

Anjel Dust

Anjel has fifteen years experience performing and teaching the art of Pole Dance. She has won many Pole Dance competitions and is the 2008 gold metal winner of the Pole 'lympics. She has also danced on tour with bands, been featured in music videos, and performed in award shows.She has trained in many styles of dance but Pole Dance remains to be her passion.Pole Dance offers something new in every class and there always ways to increase the level of difficulty and bring your own style to each move. That's why it's so addictive!All the moves are broken down into small easy to learn steps. You'll be concentrating so much on perfecting a move that you'll forget you're body is getting a full workout. Your flexibility and strength will increase dramatically and your confidence level is guaranteed to get a boost.

Annemarie Davies

Annemarie is the founder of United Pole Artists. AM has been pole dancing since January 2002, only a small time before it was “all the rage”. Beginning gymnastics at age five, she then went on to become a competition cheerleader for 11 years. It was there where she learned to dance, become flexible and do daredevil type stunts and flips on a regular basis. Once Annemarie discovered the pole, her pole dancing talents came very naturally. She went on to win the Entertainer of the year for Spearmint Rhino Gentleman’s Club in 2006, headlining in Spearmint Rhino clubs across the country, doing themed shows with costumes and props. After working for 5 1/2 years in the strip clubs, Annemarie transitioned into dancing at Jumbo's Clown Room in Hollywood, Ca. JCR is a popular bikini bar that has many different types of entertainers, burlesque, comedic, show tuners and pole acrobats. In 2008, with an immense amount of help and support from the owners of X-Polesitions, she produced the biggest and best pole dance contest in LA to date, Pole Star Invitational. Heather West

Heather will help you achieve strength, balance, and self-confidence through the art of exotic dance. Heather teaches progressive series classes. All students in the class start and end the series together. You will have the opportunity to learn new moves each week as well as review the moves from the previous week. The classes are set up by levels, and every four weeks, students can progress to the next level. Peppa Pou

Peppa was born in Belize City, Belize and moved to the states as a teenager. She discovered and embraced her love for dancehall in 2005 and has never looked back. She’s Los Angeles #1 female dancehall danca, Southern California dancehall queen 2009-2011 and Bayarea Dancehall Queen 2010-2011. Peppa has been a dancehall reggae choreographer/instructor since 2006 and has worked with various artists from LA. She’s performed at various venues throughout Hollywood. Her pole dance training began in December 2009 right here at Evole. She continues to develop her skills in Dancehall, Pole dance, Ariel Hoop, weight training and yoga. Afro Brazilian and West African dance styles are also a part of her dance training.

Jamayka Hamilton

Born & raised in Inglewood, California, with more than ten years experience in the entertainment industry, Jamayka has honed her skills in all facets of prestige pampering. She has learned what it takes to truly indulge her clients, inevitably leaving her legacy through her impeccable art as a celebrity nail artist.Always having been a natural athlete, cheerleading, short flags, volleyball, rollerblading, snow & watersports were some of her favorite active pastimes before giving birth to her first child in 2005. After which, she began exploring fun-filled alternatives to getting her pre-baby body back, besides going to the gym. A friend recommended pole dance & she immediately added the art to her list of worldly addictions. She is currently pursuing a life-long ambition to become a certified personal trainer so that she can be a catalyst to help empower women by helping them feel sexy & educating on proper nutrition, adequate conditioning & total body wellness while ultimately strengthening their self-esteem.

Emily W

Emily is a member Girl Next Door, a pole dance soiree. Emily comes from a dance background in ballet, jazz, belly dance, and Argentine tango. Pole dance is her favorite hobby and form of alternative exercise while she pursues her career as a student of dental medicine. She believes that pole dance empowers women to look and feel sexier, stronger, more graceful, and confident in every aspect of life.

 

Emily is a principal cast member of Girl Next Door, a pole dance soiree. Emily comes from a dance background in ballet, jazz, belly dance, and Argentine tango.

Pole dance is her favorite hobby and form of alternative exercise because it empowers women to look and feel sexier, grow stronger, and become more graceful and confident.

Lori Hirai

After a long stint of boxing and self-defense classes, Lori needed a change in her exercise regime to include creativity. About 3 years ago she picked up pole dancing which led her to Evolve. Lori quickly developed her advanced skills under the direction of Evolve instructors and through workshops with internationally-renowned performers like Felix Cane. Her understanding of individual development, patience, and respect make Lori an ideal leader in the class environment. In her spare time, Lori enjoys a wide variety of physical activities including hula hooping and running, which complement her healthy living lifestyle and passion for fine cuisine. If you are one of her students, you might be lucky enough to experience her amazing culinary skills!

Sasja Lee

Sasja embarked on her pole journey in December of 2009 as a student and became an instructor after only 4 months. Having no athletic or dance background, she took to the pole like a fish to water. Sasja participates in local showcases, as well as competitions, even placing in the top 5 for US Poledance Federation West Coast Regionals. She also choreographed a spoof pole dance segment for Christina Applegate for funnyordie.com. She plans on expanding her love for pole by incorporating different forms of dance. "I love the freedom pole dancing gives me. It is a beautiful, refreshing way in which to express yourself, not to mention a serious work out. Every woman should give it a try. Paula Carvajal

Paula is a California-based journalist and writer with a penchant for pole dancing. She finds having a creative outlet through movement crucial for her mental and physical health. She has trained with Pole champions and celebrities such as Sergia Louise Anderson, Leigh Ann Orsi, Amy Guion, Nadia Shariff, Alethea Austin, Tiffany Hayden, Kyra Johannesen and Natasha Wang. Paula is a dancer with Girl Next Door: A Pole Dance Soirée, is a recurring performer for Pole Show LA and has appeared in music videos and commercials showcasing her pole dancing prowess. She is also the creator and author of itsapolething.com.

Vilita Cruz

Vilita Cruz is a Southern California native.

With a marathon runner and health fanatic as a father, it is no wonder she found solace in exercise.

At an early age she was exposed to cross country running, swimming, ballet, skiing, tap, jazz, and gymnastics.

Vilita has always been drawn to unique activities and participated in Riffle Line, Belly Dancing, Latin Dance, and most recently in the Aerial Arts of Pole and Silks.

Vilita is a graduate from the University of Southern California where she was on the Rowing Team.

Her motto “Whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger!”

Brynn Route

Brynn Route is a pole fitness and aerial arts instructor from Austin, TX. 
She has a 12 background in gymnastics, and four years ago expanded her training to include pole, aerial arts, and contortion.  Her unique infusion of her diverse training has provided her the opportunity to perform at venues across the US, including the 2013 Superbowl Leather and Laces Parties, Girl Next Door LA and Texas editions, and Sea of Dreams New Years Eve in San Francisco. She has competed nationally in the 2013 National Aerial Pole Art Competition as well as the United States Pole Dance Federation's Amateur Division; and was honored to receive the titles of 2011 Miss Texas Pole Star and 2012 First Runner Up in the Southern Pole Championships. She hopes to inspire other women and men to find an avenue of self-expression through pole and aerial movement.

Jordan Kensley

Jordan Kensley was first introduced to the art of Pole Dancing by a YouTube video of Jenyne Butterfly. She decided then and there that she wanted to be a pole dancer too.
 
Jordan began pole dancing when she moved to LA in October 2012. Her first performance was in a group routine for PoleShowLA 2013. Since then she has gone on to compete and place in many competitions, such as PSO Nationals, National Aerial Pole Art, and will soon be performing in the North American Pole Dance Championship.
 
Jordan Kensley enjoys teaching Pole because it gives her the chance to share the same enthusiasm for this art with her students. Pole Dancing has given Jordan confidence, strength, and flexibility in and out of the studio and she hopes it will do the same for you!
We suggest you take our Pole Virgin (Intro) class at least 6 times before taking Pole Vixen (Level 1).
 
You will refine the moves learned in Pole Virgin and combine them with the reverse sunwheel, chair, V spin, back hook, cross leg spin, fireman, cradle, cradle w/open straddle, floater, Peterpan and more!
 
This class will get you ready for Crazy...Sexy...Pole (Experienced Level 1/2) and Pole Diva (Level 2)!
 
We suggest at least 6-8 classes before moving to Level 2
